The health of our extended First Service family is our top priority, so we have shifted our branch services to drive-thru, and we are also encouraging our members to utilize digital banking and telephone banking whenever possible.

First Service will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance from federal, state, and local authorities as we work to serve you. How We Can Help

 

We've taken several steps to make life easier for our members during this time of need. Here are some of the ways we’re working to provide financial relief and support.

 

EMERGENCY RELIEF LOANS

We have created a new loan type specifically geared towards helping our members manage expenses during this time of uncertainty. This loan is available for up to $3,000 at a low, fixed rate over a fair term. You can apply online or over the phone by calling 713-676-7777 and selecting option 3 when prompted.

SKIP-A-PAY FEES WAIVED

We are waiving Skip-A-Pay fees as a way to help you free up some money for other expenses you may be facing during this time. To take advantage, simply follow these quick steps:

  1. Log in to digital banking.
  2. Navigate to the Loans tab.
  3. Choose the Skip a Payment option.
  4. Select the loan payment you wish to skip.
  5. Follow the instructions that appear on screen.

LOAN EXTENSIONS

If you are facing financial hardship but do not qualify for our Skip-A-Pay program at this time, we've made it easy to request a loan extension online. If approved, your loan payment date may be extended by 30 - 60 days

As always, the safest and easiest way to access your money 24 hours a day is through our digital banking services. You can use digital banking to conduct the following services and more:

  • Make updates to your profile and contact information

  • Transfer money between accounts
  • Make a loan payment
  • Set up one-time and recurring bill payments
  • Send money to individuals through online bill pay

PHONE ASSISTANCE

During this time, you can continue to reach our Service Center by phone at 713-676-7777. Our Service Center remains open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM CDT, and Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CDT. Due to higher than usual call volume, our average call wait time is 1-5 minutes, so we appreciate your patience.  

 

BRANCH ACCESS

As an essential business, First Service’s branches remain open regular hours to serve you in the safest ways possible. You can continue to access branches listed below through the drive-thru, or you may schedule a time for an in-branch visit to take care of services that can’t be done via drive-thru. To make it easier to take care of the transactions you need, we have expanded our drive-thru services, so you can now use the drive-thru to complete any of the following services: 

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Electronic and wire transfers
  • Loan payments
  • Debit card reissue
  • Cashier’s checks
  • New account opening and funding
  • Loan applications

 

SCHEDULE IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT

Our team is happy to help if there is something you are looking to do with your account that cannot be completed online, by phone, or in the drive-thru. In order to maintain everyone’s safety by limiting direct contact, you may schedule a time to visit a branch at your convenience. If you are not feeling well or may be at risk of exposure to the coronavirus, we ask that you send us a secure message through digital banking or give us a call at 713-676-7777 instead of coming in to a branch.
